Funny... Not funny... but funny now story
It's a bit of a weird image to place as a header you may think, but to me, it encapsulates who I am, what I photograph and what images I choose to deliver. Here I am, at a baptism, standing right in front of the water, when Jacqui (Leaders wife) decides it'll be all shits n giggles to grab me, with a slight tug back towards the water, like she's going to plunge me... you know, like you used to do to your siblings. Brand new camera in hand, I freaked a tad but miraculously (or maybe premeditated) Laila, (spontaneous second shooter for 1/2hr) snapped the perfect moment of fear, laughter and relief. Did I deliver the image... absolutely. It was a moment of authenticity.
The greatest images I capture, are those moments of truth.
